We have several different Sunday School classes offered at St. Luke's. Here is a description of each one:
As the school year begins it seems that every minute is filled with activity. In the midst of our busy lives, we must carve out time for the things that are truly important. Make Time for God is the theme for St. Luke's Sunday School for Children, Youth and Adults. Our formation programs for children are designed to capture their innate sense awe and wonder and cultivate a deep, abiding faith. The centerpiece of this faith formation model is our much-anticipated Godly Play classroom for K5 through 4th grade. For our 3- & 4-year olds we will again offer Beulah Land Bible Stories, with its beautifully illustrated feltboard stories presented in Godly Play style.Youth programs address the need to question, explore and prepare for the journey ahead. For our 5th through 8th graders, Youth Director Gail Griffith, will present Re:form, a formation curriculum that tackles some of the tough questions of faith-like Who wrote the Bible? and Why does God let bad things happen? With animated short films and creative projects and activities. Senior High youth will be engaged in questions of faith in a new mentor program. One adult class is offered. Make Time For God, 9:00, a.m. Sunday morning.

St. Luke’s Youth
Learning about God and the Episcopal Church can be fun. Most of all, learning to recognize the movement of the Holy Spirit in our lives is a joyful experience to last for a lifetime.
Youth Sunday School welcomes 6th through 12th graders in a blended experience. They may have different readings – on the Bible, the church, sacraments, saints, history or current affairs – or bring a different level of understanding to the same materiel, but their readings contribute to the Sunday morning discussion and the kids help each other learn with their own insights.
Youth Group meets after church for 4th through 12th graders. The focus is still on God, but this is a time for lunch and activity.
We welcome young people, parent involvement, and adult volunteers to the family.
