The Rector's Class
An introduction to the Episcopal Church
The Rector, Father Cumbie, will lead a conversational class on the history and
beliefs of the Episcopal Church beginning on Sunday, November 30th and
continuing through Advent until Sunday, December 21st. This informal setting is
open to anyone who would like to know more about St. Luke's and the Episcopal
Church.  Everyone is welcome.
Annual Pledge Drive
If you did not receive a letter with a pledge card, please excuse the
oversight.  You may pick up a letter from the table in the Narthex, or call the
office and we will mail one to you.  The Pledge Card In-gathering will be
Sunday, November 23rd.
St. Luke's Annual Parish Christmas Party
Saturday, December 13th, 6:00pm
St. Luke's Parish Hall
Tickets may be purchased in the church office (Monday - Thursday) and in
the Narthex on Sundays.  The ticket price is $20.00.  A nursery and
supervision for the children will be provided along with an appropriate meal
and activities.  If you have questions or need more information, please see
Theles Woodfin who is coordinating this year's party.
Advent Event
The Annual Advent Event will be held on Sunday, November 30th, following the
10:00am service.  We will make our Advent wreaths and lunch will be served.  If
you plan to attend, please fill out the form and include the number in you party.
Lunch with the Rector
In appreciation for all of our wonderful volunteers, (in every area), on Tuesday, December
2nd at 12:00 noon, I invite you to join me for lunch.  If you plan to attend, PLEASE RSVP NO
LATER THAN 9:00AM MONDAY, DECEMBER 1ST.
